Convert length, width and thickness to meters.
Volume = length × width × depth × (1 + allowance/100).
Bag count = required volume ÷ product yield, rounded up.
Volume = bed length × width × depth. Apply the extra-material percentage before dividing by bag volume and rounding up.
A 5 m × 4 m bed at 5 cm depth contains 1 m³. A 10% allowance raises the order estimate to 1.1 m³.
