How to convert fahrenheit to celsius
°C = (°F − 32) × 5/9.
Subtract 32 before multiplying by 5/9. A temperature change of 18°F is 10°C, but a temperature of 18°F is below 0°C.
Worked example
68 °F = 20 °C. To reverse it, enter the unrounded output and select Swap units. Round only the final result; converting an already-rounded result back may not reproduce the original exactly.
