Multiplication Table (10 × 10 and 12 × 12)

Two multiplication charts: the 10 × 10 table of basic facts and the 12 × 12 table taught in many schools. Find one factor in the left column and the other in the top row; the product is where they meet.

Every product is computed. The page prints cleanly from your browser's Print command, so this chart doubles as the printable 12 × 12 table.

Blank tables and practice

For a blank practice grid, write the numbers 1 to 10 (or 1 to 12) along the top and down the left side and leave the cells empty, then check your answers against the tables above. We do not publish a separate blank sheet; the same row and column headings are all a blank table contains.

  • Commutative: a × b = b × a, so you only need to learn half the table
  • × 10 appends a zero; × 5 is half of × 10
  • × 9: the digits of 9 × n (n ≤ 10) add to 9, and the tens digit is n − 1
  • × 11 for 1–9 repeats the digit (11 × 7 = 77)
  • The diagonal holds the perfect squares 1, 4, 9, 16, …, 144
